DSNA (direction des services de la navigation aĆ©rienne – department of air navigation services) is the French provider in charge of air navigation services. The DSNA includes all the operational, technical and administrative organisations contributing to the providing of French air navigation services, in France and overseas. Under the aegis of its general management, DSNA activities are split within two departments: DO (operations department) which includes all the en-route, approach and aerodrome control organisms, and the DTI (technical and innovation department), in charge of studies and applied research, operational systems development and technical equipment supply.

DSNA operates 5 area control centres and 85 airports, which in 2008 controlled 2.911,047 IFR flights.
